Period Mansion Revival

Built by a famous property developer, Walter George Tarrant in the late 1920’s, the slim and graceful sash windows were the face of this opulent mansion. Over the years, the original windows had slowly deteriorated, becoming cold, draughty and requiring continuous maintenance.

Unfortunately, they were not replaced as the owners could not find quality replacement sash windows that would faithfully match the period charm and narrow profiles of the original Georgian Design sashes, in addition to upgrading their thermal, security and airtightness properties.

We carefully designed and produced authentic Slimline Sash windows and doors to ensure that the period character of this luxurious home was preserved. The windows were made with warp-resistant timber, factory-finished with long-lasting micro-porous paints for reduced maintenance. Most importantly, the slim 18mm refined lamb’s tongue glazing bars and 35mm slim meeting rails were incorporated to retain the original character. We can now say with confidence that our windows have truly helped to restore this beautiful mansion back to its former glory.
