Authentic Details

The original casements, installed in the 1920’s, were slowly coming to the end of their life when the owners approached us to assist. They were hesitant to replace them, however, as they were concerned about losing the look and feel of their period home, which was designed and built by a renowned local architect.

The casement windows had specialist roof detail which protected them from the moisture ingress. Privett’s Slimline flush casement windows were chosen because of their authentic detail, slim glazing bars, outstanding thermal, security and thermal performance. Above all, our ability to match the period details was critical to their choosing Privett for this project.
